What mountain is closest to a main airport and has late Spring skiing in the US/Canada?

So, I just came back from Colorado and had a BLAST.  Unfortunately I had my family there which meant I wasn't able to get as much ski time as I would have liked.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a fun mountain that is close to a main airport and has simple transportation so I wouldn't have to rent a car or anything.

Basically, I just want to fly-in, take a bus to the ski area, crash nearby and turn around and take the bus to a plane and home. I live in the Southeast, but this would be good info for the future even if not this year :-)

Thanks!

Salt Lake City should be the easiest one... they have been getting some snow lately, but not their best year, but if it's a last minute kinda trip I don't think you will have problems.

Salt Lake City, UT: They have public buses from the airport if your really trying to save money. Resorts are 30-45 minutes away.

There of course smaller airports, but they are much more expensive!!!

For example, there is Aspen, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Vail, Steamboat

Salt Lake with Canyon Transport to Alta or Snowbird is the obvious choice.

Denver into Summit County is an option, but I would want a car to get around there.

Vancouver with 2 hour shuttle bus to Whistler, where you won't need a car is another option.

Mammoth and Mt. Bachelor, which i always tout for consistent spring skiing, do not have big airports nearby.  3+ hours drive from Reno or Portland.

Actually, Summit County is really easy to ski without a car.  My taxes pay for the Summit Stage, a free bus that goes to Breck, Copper, Keystone, and A-Basin.  The OP wants late spring skiing.  If he means really "late", that basically means A-Basin.
