I am pretty conservative really. I know it looks fast and it is, but I am seriously calculate on everything, and work a lot on core strength so I can recover when needed to be. I have had one scary fall this year and it was actually during one of these day and it was silly. I caught a tip on a tree just trying to go someplace and end up doing a flip into a tree, tore my jacket bruised my back, I am getting a spine protector for sure.... If I start thinking about getting hurt though not only would this be WAY less fun, but I would probably also get hurt.
I also spend 100s of run early season dialing in skills in so that when days like this happen I can shred and just do, my mind is basically off while skiing woods/chutes like this.
