Best expert runs at Killington/Pico Mar 15,16?

Hi,

Would appreciate advice on where we'll find best skiing -- bumps, trees, maybe even some powder left this weekend at Killington/Pico. It's been many years since we were there and we don't remember the mountain. We're a family of experts of different shades, but everyone gets down everything one way or the other!

Thanks in advance.

PS: it's been several years since I was on the Forums! Anyone still here from the old Epic SKi Weems class of '09?

The Canyon Chair on the front face of the mtn serves many blacks.  Minimize returns to base of K-1 gondi any more than you have to because of big lines.  Stay on the good black diamonds on Bear Mtn, also can ride Skye and Needles Eye chairs.  I have used the Skyeship gondi base to enter the ski area, but it can be busy too on big days.

I'm talking from old experience, don't know for sure what sort of crowds a March dump will bring, but suspect substantial.  Killington's one of the biggest and closest to get biggest snowfall.  Pico has got some very good adv/expert terrain and good for crowd avoidance if you find first day at Kmart overwhelming.  Have fun, use singles lines:D

Welcome back to Epicski.

Thanks Jamesj! We'll report back if we're not too exhausted in the evenings.
