West Vail Bus Question

Hey everyone,

Taking three days off from work starting tomorrow to get in some turns before I pull out the golf clubs. I am trying to remember the bus routes at Vail and need to know which bus to jump on. I plan on parking on the frontage road in West Vail down by the fire station. Do I grab the Green Route or the Red Route there? I seem to remember you want to grab one of those on the way to Vail and the other route on the way back to your vehicle.

I know there are places you can park and walk...but I have a bad back and really don't want to walk very far...so that is why I am taking the bus.  :-)

Thanks for the help!

I have that map....that is why I know there are Green and Red routes...but it is a bit confusing to me and that is why I am posing the question about Red vs Green.

It looks like I want the Green for the morning and the Red back to the vehicle...but if someone could qualify that, it would be great.

I haven't parked much where you are talking about but both Green and Red are circular routes and it is shorter to take different ones different directions (morning and afternoon)

Exactly! That is why I want to make sure I grab the right one. Of course we are probably just talking about 10 minutes difference...but hey...that is 10 minutes sooner to the lift!

Where do you park? Just curious if you have a better option. I refuse to pay the $25 parking fee.

From the north frontage road, take green to the transportation center and red back to your car.
