Came up direct from SLC, after having the best week there this season. Let's hope that continues:

 

Well, it snowed. A lot. But coming from SLC's beautiful light pow, this was PNW heavy stuff: In Rhapsody Bowl:

Big snow on the 8th meant it was time for the hike to Blackcomb glacier:

A little Avy action is why it took patrol a while to open up the glacier:

 

 

Much like Snowbird on a powder day, the glacier gets a lot of attention when it snows at WB.

You picked a good week. mid-Feb to March have been good skiing so far, this weekend looks awesome again as freezing levels are staying low with more snow.
