I would think that would be a slamdunk chargeback for every credit card, no?

Dunno - if there is no-one left to chargeback to and you the cardholder has deliberately engaged with a known "bankrupt" party they might have something in the small print.  Though of course you'd expect them to be withholding initial payment from the party themselves before then.

Lol, I might be buying from the same dealer (I'm talking to a shop "liquidating" in Montana). What do you mean by defunked?

And you were happy? :)

This is not a jab at the original poster of 'defunked', just an observation.

I believe 'defunked' is the phonetic spelling for 'defunct'. I doubt the dealer needed to be deodorized.

Our written language is going to hell with the internet. Clarity of communication is being lost through misspelling and people's laziness in using properly constructed sentences.

Edit: I posted before I saw qcanoe made the clarification. I am sorry for the redundancy. I make no apologies for the sentiment. ;)

FYI, the Kastle FX series is fully carried over for 2015. You won't see those drop below 20% off this year without dealers violating their dealer agreement. Next year, the FX series goes up $100 in price too!

The MX series has slight cosmetic changes for next year, you may see additional discounts there, it depends on inventory.

You can sometimes find deals on closeout models.

That's really good information dawgcatching! Is that just knowledge from being a Kastle dealer? Or is there a place where the public can find info like that too?

so glad you squared me away, I did not mean to offend you with my laziness.

Thanks. I took no offense. I just was observing that poor spelling (along with poor grammar and punctuation) leads to broken communication. Here it is inconsequential, but in the real world, the last thing we needs is more misunderstanding.

The best deals I have found over the years on new skis were on discontinued models that had been rebranded under a different name although not greatly changed in actual design.
