Blast in Colorado

Had a blast spending a week in Colorado. Great conditions. Everything from powder, windslab to Blue Sky. Copper, Breck, ABasin all twice with a day off inbetween to rest a repaired knee.

 

Have to say though, I am not happy with Breck opening Peak 6 to the hoards of hackers slipsliding down what was once the best hike to powder runs there. Kind of ruined the whole experience for me. jmho

 

Thoughts?

That's exactly what my thougts were when they first ran a lift up Peak 10.  I guess it's just history repeating itself.....or "progress".

Glad you got to enjoy the stellar conditions!

 

My thoughts on Peak 6 are a) Breck is so crowded it badly needs the terrain, and b) bringing it inbounds likely saved someone's life.
