Well it took a bit to get the numbers because of it requiring some SQL help, but here you go. To answer all the questions about how reputation score is affected by it starting to count long after most our join dates I have this list. It is the top 30 posts to points ratios (Minimum 50 reputation score and 500 posts to get rid of statistical anomalies):
|User||Posts since 9/2011||Feedback Score||Average|
From my vantage point I think the reputation system is actually working more or less. This list is basically a list of much of the many of the most knowledgeable contributors of EpicSki. Now there isn't a way at present to show something like the calculated score, only the flawed raw score, but I thought the numbers at least show that the system is working more or less as it should. As a side note, @bunion didn't meet my criteria for 500 posts, but on his respectable number of posts he had a nearly. .60 score which is absolutely fantastic and representative of his knowledge working in ski patrol.
I'm tied for 112th so the system is definitely working.
