my right one broke (buckle pin)...need replacement sooner rather than later

...could get the one at mec but just wondering about cheaper alternatives

thanks

I've never seen a suitable (cheaper) alternative.  But I'd happily buy a cheaper version!  Can you get it repaired with a new buckle at MEC?  They've got the equipment for heavy duty stitching (they've done a bomber job on some of my gear).

thanks for replying...as per the one that mec does carry it's intermediate...i contacted owner of skimetrix

who distributes / makes the booster and he said it's too light for my weight anyway and to just get

the firmer one....oh well.

and no the buckle's pin is toast so mec can't replace it

Maybe the Booster Strap people will replace it for you. I met the owner a few years ago putting on my boots and told him my latch would let the strap get loose after a couple hours and he told me just to mail him the straps and he would replace them no charge .

A week later I had new straps.
