I have the Morra pants and other than running a tad short, I LOVE them! They fit really well, don't have that puffy insulated look, and I must say, are warm!

 

I want to echo the suggestion of wearing a polar fleece mid layer. I often wear a thin running tight or capri as a base layer, then a stretch fleece type pant as a mid layer. I have a pair of Columbia Omniheat tights, and I must say, they are warm without being ultra-thick.
