Where are people planning to stay for the Eastern Tune-up

I called around to several places and checked out some websites and the Stowe area is pretty well booked for reasonable rate rooms. For me, it is necessary to stay for 3 days. Some places have one day but not the others.
I ended up getting a place in Montpelier. Yes, it is a little far, but it is within my budget and they had rooms available for all 3 days. It's not too late though, if anyone knows of a place closer that has reasonable rates and openings available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

We are staying at the River Inn. The room rate is 70.00 a night, and they take dogs! Anyone who stays there can meet my greyhound, Giselle!

Snowdrift
This is where we are staying. It's not cheaper than what you have, but we're close to the activity.

They have apartments....perhaps you could room with others wanting to share accomodations? That'll bring the price down considerably.

Just shout, Single?

Lisamarie: Couldn't find any listings for the River Inn. Do you have contact info?

Is that how you do it?

I still have time to cancel my other reservation if the right arrangements can be made.

What about Springhill Crazie? He's got the c-pap thang goin on....

Rent one of Stowe motel's apartments and get a group thing going on.....kinda like a commune. Then invite the rest of us poor slobs over for drinks.

Yikes! I haven't made a reservation yet. Still hoping to find a room mate, but I guess that c-pap thing must be scaring people off.

I'm staying at the Inn on the Mountain. I'm not bringing my wife or my dog. Is anyone else staying there?

Riverside Inn as well. Lori's coming, but the dog stays home this trip

Springhill, meet skierteach. Skierteach meet Springhill.

And by the way, Springhill, keep a close eye on that c-pap....you may find it missing if you leave your room unattended for any length of time (after the lifts close, of course!)

Snowdrift. But I may change my mind if Bonni can't keep the hip hop down below full volume.

Can't? or just plane WON'T?!

I was being polite.

Riverside.

And you shouldn't worry about Bonni playing hiphop... it's when she cranks up Queensryche that you'll wish you never left Colorado.

I will be at the Inn on the Mountain and will be coming in Thursday night in case anyone wants to hook up Friday for skiing. I'll also have a car if anyone needs a ride back to the airport sunday night.

There is absolutely no danger of hearing hip hop out of me, but JD has the right idea! Good choice!

I'm not annoying everywhere...just on this forum!

Just an idea.
Although I already have reservations, they are a little far from the mountain. If there were a few people who would like to share a value apartment with me at the snowdrift (2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen the other with 2 twins, and a pull out Queen sofa in the livingroom.) It's $110 per night. Because of distance I have to stay for 3 nights. Let me know if you are interested.

So far, 1 single female (me)

The 4 bedroom mountain view apartment is $160 , 3 queen beds in seperate rooms and 2 twin beds in a shared room. There is also a couch, but it doesn't say that it is a pull out. This is another option.

The Chalet House is $150 per night and has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a King and the other with a double and a twin, The sofa in this unit is a pull out Queen bed.

The Riverside house @ 275 a night has 4 bedrooms, 1 with bunks, 1 with a queen, 1 with a king and 1 with a double and 2 twins there is also a sofa in the living room, but I do not know if it pulls out.

an air mattress is also an option to put on the floor of the livingroom in any of these and/or the apartment I mentioned in the other post.

I believe the cost for extra people in the unit is $10 per person.

Come on guys, I know we can get a group together and save!

Ah, gee, no, what ever could you be talking about?

I have reserved a 2 bedroom mountain view suite, that is what was available. It has 2 bedrooms (one with a queen and the other with 2 twins) and a pull out queen sofa in the livingroom.

There are 2 of us planning to stay there now and we really would love company. (bring the cost down)

It is reserved arriving Friday 12/12 and departing Monday 12/15.

The total cost including tax is $457.80

with 2 people = $228.90 each
with 3 people = $152.80 each
with 4 people = $114.45 each

So far there are 2 of us so we have room for 2 more, either a couple or singles are welcome. The first to contact me get the spaces.

Springhill Crazie (m)
Skierteach (F)

Come on, Join us and make the lodging cost less for all of us
