Names of ski trails are boring

Thread Starter

I’ve visited couple ski resorts this season and I found the ski trails names quite boring. Hopefully, some resorts will review and rename their trails. Those are my suggestions.

10. Glutton’s Nemesis (single diamond)

9. Off Piss-te Snowflake (hike trails)

8. Gurggling Turkey (easy, green)

7. Bully’s Die-rhea (very steep terrain)

6. Bleeding Pimples (moguls)

5. Gagging Doctor (very long and steep run)

4. Hairy Soprano Curse (suicidal/killing double diamond)

3. Sea-Sea Complaint (intermediate, occasionally steep)

2. Aching Lawyer Claim (intermediate with some moguls)

1. Floating Viagra Man (definitely blue trail)

Any other suggestions are welcome.

adjacent chutes reached by a traverse with an extreme terrain warning

-No we're serious

-Desk jockey

-Won't cut it

-Better sidestep

We have two runs at my home hill called Chicken and Chicken Out.  I think the names are self-explanatory.

Attitash in New Hampshire has "Tim's Trauma" and "Idiot's Option".

Sugarloaf in Maine has "Misery Whip".

As far as I'm concerned, the best trail name ever is in Snowmass Colorado:  AMF (Adios Mother *clears throat*).

(Edit:  It's Idiot's Option, not Idiot's Delight in Attitash).

Ok, where are these?

Run are often named by the people that cut them or claimed first descents and they should stay that way, renaming is not cool. Similar with mountain bike trails.

Note that trails at the Loaf are named with a logging theme. " Misery whip" is a colloquial name for a crosscut saw, I believe.

In my imagination - better than Tom's Tumble etc etc as a warning  .  Unless you're Tom or his buddies who probably still enjoy the gag today.

Those don't seem to be family friendly.

Point of No Return

Hey, watch this!

No Parking

Turn Back Now!

Beer Goggles (may not be so PC)

End of the Line

Cliche

Stoner's Folly (may not be so PC)

George of the Jungle (trees)

Sonny (trees)

Michael Kennedy (trees)

Typically, off trail woods areas have better names, as they're unofficial and made up by the skiers on the mountain. At Stowe, there is the Butt Crack, Profanity, and Space Unicorn to name a few.

Space Unicorn? WTF is that?

What's funny is how the unofficial trails have multiple names.

Entrance is Perry Merrill skiers' right, between High Road and Rimrock, where there is a noticeably thinner patch of trees just before the right hand bend in PM. Space Unicorn is a Buster thing.

I initially misread the thread title, and though you wanted names of boring trails... the two kinda ghastly ones I can think of:

Big Baby @ blue mountain

Sissy Schuss @ tremblant

We have one at Mt. Hood Meadows called Search and Rescue cliffs, as that happens there. One is called Elevator shaft, at Snowbird one is called S.T.H. for Steeper Than Hell, it used to be S.T.S.
