Stance Width and Carving - Page 2

Thanks all, the thread has been great.

 

This is one of few breakthroughs in my recent skiing and all the positive encouragement and detail really help drive home the points.

 

I get how cowboy turns are more a stepping stone to teach correct fundamentals than an actual skiing stance you'd want want to enlist generally. For me, the subtle rotary movement has to be eliminated and I'll take whatever cues I can to banish it. Maybe next up I can get some MA video. We'll see what's left in 2014.
