Snowbird, Utah open in mid-May 2014?

I may have a business trip to Snowbird in mid-May 2014. I saw a web page claiming the area would be open until late May (http://www.skisaltlake.com/official-utah-ski-season-opening-closing-dates.htm). Is that likely? Is it an error? All the other areas on that page say April.

I've skied there well into June.   Some years they go weekends only fairly early in May.

If it keeps snowing I think Snowbird will be open in Mid May.

If it is open definitely go. The tram, and 2 high speed chairs (Little Cloud.Mineral Basin)

will service plenty of terrain.

They like to make it to Memorial Day every year, but the May weather will have the final say, obviously. There's a solid chance it will be open, but possibly only on weekends, like Snowhead said.

Very likely only weekends. And unlike Mammoth, Snowbird will not exert a strong effort to make it to Memorial Day in a low snowpack year by moving snow around to preserve lift access.  This is definitely a low snowpack year so far, so like JoeUT says, it will depend heavily upon the weather over the next 3 months.

OK, thanks for info. Sunday May 11 is only day I could ski.

Should be open May 11. It is later in may that may be questionable.
