Inherited Kastle Skis Curious of age and value

Hello,

I am new to this forum and really joined so some ski enthusiast could hopefully help me. I have inherited a set of Kastle skis. I know a little bit about the brand but, nothing about skis. I am a snowboarder (when I am able to go) so I dont even know where to start with these. These are Kastle Ti-Racing skis. 76'' long and have several sets of number on them.

+15BIS +25cm

DIN 7890-ONORM s450

etched in the side of the skis has a matching number 195 082507 and 1189.

Thanks for the help.

well...195 is the length, in cm.

"+15 bis +25cm" means "+15 to +25" and is a recommendation for the length of the skis based on your height. IOW, these skis should be 15-25 cm taller than you are.

and 1189...is probably the year these skis were made.

just kidding, but they are pretty old and probably aren't worth much. sorry i can't be of more help with specifics, though.

So if I threw them on craigslist what would be a fair price to start at?

10 bucks and hope? Sorry to be the bearer or bad news, but these aren't really worth much. The poles are probably more likely to sell as pole technology hasn't changed.

bummer!

I see skis like this in dumpsters all the time. Bindings also worthless. Agree about the poles, they might be worth $10 if not any significant scratches. You might consider a yard sale this spring, yeah maybe $10, but doubt you'l get any nibbles from CL.
