Search function is not working for me so I'll just ask: recommendations for Vail area restaurants? Mid range ($20-$30 entrees), I'll eat anything, does NOT need to be kid-friendly.We are staying in Avon. My daughter is instructing there so she will know all the bars.

I was going to recommend
But then saw you want to spend more money. :)
I'll answer my own question after a week at Vail:
Zino's (Edwards) - very good Mediterranean (skip the pizza tho).
Vin 48 (Avon) - very good although pricy wines (not surprising for a wine bar but some lower cost bottles would be nice for us proles).
Hooked (Beaver Creek) - excellent seafood prepared lots of different ways, small portions.
Tavern on the Gore (Vail Village) - upscale pub food.
All of the above quite reasonable by Vail standards. Lots of places with good happy hours if you want to eat early.
Pho 20 in the Christie Lodge (Avon) surprisingly good and cheap Vietnamese.
City Market (grocery store) in Avon has lots of prepared foods (sushi, rotisserie chicken, fried chicken) if you want to eat-in.
