Do Ski instructors moonlight?

Thread Starter

Things seemed to be a little crazy organizationally when I tried the mountain's ski school. I was put with some younger teenagers and the instructor ask to leave early to go ski with his family. Also according to their packages it is cheaper to rent, do ski lessons, and buy a pass, than just use your own skis and buy the other two a la carte. Anyone know any good instructors around Bristol Mountain NY?

Thanks in advance,

You should have complained to the ski school management.

Most good instructors do not moonlight. Those that do moonlight would be foolish to do it openly on the Internet since most of the time moonlighting is a good way to get fired or worse.

Swain is 30 miles away from Bristol.

If you ask for a PSIA level 2 or (preferably) a level 3 certified instructor your chances of a positive outcome are dramatically increased.
