Alta crowds on weekends?

Leaving tomorrow for a 5 night stay in Midvale.  4 1/2 days of skiing starting Wednesday afternoon through Sunday.  We'll be skiing Alta the first day and a half, but we've left the schedule wide open for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Looks like it's supposed to snow in the mountains Thursday night, and again over the weekend.  Alta, Snowbasin, and Powder are the three we'd consider for those days -- any suggestions?

We're renting an SUV.

It has been busy because the season hasn't been that great. This weekend, nearly every possible parking spot was taken, yet lines were maybe 5-8 min at the worst. The weekend before, the canyon was closed because there wasn't any place to park. Storm days tend to keep some people at home though, but I would image this weekend will be pretty busy.

I would ski Alta again Friday after the first round of moisture. Then head up to Snowbasin or Powder on the weekend, looking for snow levels and totals.

Great advice. It's pretty funny when almost 300" of snow and over 100" base is considered not that great.

It hadn't been good up until February.  It has been warm, but we are set now.
