Elan Website...Reccommended Length?

Hello everyone,

I was looking at the Elan website, as I'm considering either the Amphibio 82XTi or the 88XTi, and I was a bit confused by the way they list reccomended length.  Usually length is figured by adding or subtracting from the skiers height in cm.  On the elan page, it gives the Reccommended Length something like this:  0/-10

What does this actually mean.  If it just said -10, I'd be inclined to think it means to select a ski 10cm shorter than usual, but I have no idea how to interpret what they say on the website.

Heres a link to the page if you want to see for yourself:  http://www.elanskis.com/us/product/amphibio-82-xti-fusion.html

I think it means choose a ski length between 0 and 10 cms shorter than your height in cms. But irrespective, you should choose the ski based on your height, weight, ability and what you want out of the ski. Best of luck!

It kind of seems like a silly piece of information to throw in there.  Doesn't really have much value.  Thanks for the input.
