Late March: Lake Tahoe vs. Utah

Thread Starter

I know nothing is certain, but given the snow conditions and weather patterns this year, which would a better bet in late March (22-25): Tahoe or Utah?

My son is an advanced snowboarder who loves the deep powder, I'm an intermediate who likes blue groomers.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Dave

Pretty far into this year Colorado/WY/MT > Utah >>>>>> Tahoe.

Based on everything I have heard it's really no contest, Utah.  Snowbird currently has a 92" base, Squaw Valley is 57" but normally has a lot more than that.  Assuming you go to Utah, keep in mind that snowboards are not allowed at Alta.
