Look Pivots and travel

Anyone have this issue (minor but annoying) - every time I travel - the pivots get popped up into the "boot in" position and all twisted around when in my ski bag.  Anyone have a suggestion on how to keep this from happening?  It is a PIA to untangle everything.  Also, PX14's never seem to pop up.  Admittedly a 1st world problem, but thought I might ask.  Figured somebody may have been down this road.

Well since I put my bindings into the "boot in" position when the skis are not in use, I can't say this is an issue for me...

As for the "all twisted around" thing, are you kinding me? What does it take, 5 seconds to align and cock the heel piece?

Maybe you are not "Pivot" material...

Them's fightin words.

PX heals take a lot more pressure to pop up than pivots.

Try a rubber brake strap (aka tuning strap).  My skis with Pivots are at ski locker and I don't recall if band rides far enough back on the body to help prevent "uncocking".  Worth a try.

I use hard case sport-tube for travel, so haven't had the issue.

You don't get out much, on planes, with skis. However - It's the straps, clothes and other stuff in the ski bag that gets all twisted up. You'd be surprised at how $@&'d it gets.

Will try using brake strap. Headed back out West on Thu

Maybe it's a ski bag issue? Try an old school binding cover inside the bag.

I use a double Sportube when I fly...

Use painters blue tape to wrap around the heel binding. That should do the trick.
