Bindings for my new Icelantic Nomad RKR SKNYs

Thread Starter

Hey all --

I just bought the above-mentioned skis after demoing them. I found them stupid cheap, so I didn't buy them at the ski shop. (Icelantic Nomad RKR SKNY 171cm.) In all my years skiing, I have never purchased skis online, so I've typically paired them with whatever was suggested during purchase. My current all-mountain skis are maxed out on a DIN setting of 10 and they sometimes release unexpectedly, but that might be the age of the binding rather than the DIN. Hoping you guys can help me figure this out, since online DIN calculators are spitting n/a back to me.

Me:

Height: 5'8"

Weight: ~165 lbs

Boot size: Solomon 25.0

Skiing: Aggressive, east coast stuff. Steep bumps, glades, and ungroomed terrain preferred.

I'd like to keep the whole package as lightweight as possible. Suggestions? I was thinking that I might be able to do the Marker Squires, but am worried that the max DIN might a bit too low.

Thanks all!

Squires are fine.  But then again, most bindings are fine.
