Mogul Skiing in Michigan - Anyone out there?

Anyone else in the general Detroit area seriously interested in moguls and (most importantly) getting better at them?  Bumps are up at Pine Knob (half of Bumper) and Mt. Holly (2/3 of Mogul Mania), and I'm guessing that Brighton probably has a field going on the backside.

I was at Holly tonight, and after about 3 hours of lapping the skier's left (easier) side of Mogul Mania, I could maybe do a pale imitation of a zipper line. :p

I really want to learn, but funds this year just don't permit me attending one of the big western camps, so I thought I would start this.

Yep, I've followed the thread.

I was at PK last night chaperoning ski club.  Took a few runs through bumper.  The moguls were in pretty good shape - some soft snow, definitely some icy stretches though.

One day OP will make his pilgrimage to Aspen and win the Powder 8.

I love to here the OP is getting after the bumps. Just keep doing those laps and you'll be ready for your proper pilgrimage for a bump skier... to Mary Jane, of course.

I was trying them at Schuss last night, they are getting pretty big with ice in between. I would love to take a lesson and get better at skiing them.

I tend to get back real quick while in the moglus, I really struggle in them.
