Going to Aspen/Snowmass Next week - rock skis?

Wondering how good the coverage is at Aspen/Snowmass right now. Deciding whether I should bring my rock skis or my newer skis?  Any input would be appreciated.

Newer skis..coverage is just about all time high and conditions are Thumbs Up

Rock skis might come in handy if you like to ski down the street to the bars,  like the Swedes I saw last week.

I see somebody has been following Colorado conditions closely...

There are two kinds of skis: unmounted skis and rock skis. Bring rock skis -- they ski better with bindings.

Best Colorado snow in years!  My rule of thumb is a ~40 inch base brings out the good skis.  Most areas are double that.

I got my third core shot on my new skis yesterday.  If you ski expert terrain you'll hit rocks pretty much regardless of snow depth.  If you stick to groomers you won't.

Wolf Creek had a 40" base the first week of November. Definitely a good year.
