It's all in the timing. I've got lucky a couple of times and hit it with pretty good coverage, most of the times I've been there the top is not open and I use the woods at top as Josh mentions to gain access a bit lower down but that feeling of floating off the lip is gone. To get that float one has to go right over and not stop at the opening and read the danger, thin cover etc. signs.Don't look just go.
