You heard it hear first.

Actually Supernova and Forrest Bump are two of my faves. It has been a while but the glade to the skiers left off of Jackson Gore lift are fun too.

Just be careful, we've had some snow recently but nothing since last Wednesday, the woods are still a bit scratchy, and pretty skied off right now. There are rocks, and some other not so visible obstacles. Supernova and Forest Bump are not open and haven't all season though they've been poached. Most of the open trees are the lower angle tree runs. Outrage (a more open glade) was roped off today.

The snowpack in the trees is deceptively thin. Mtn ops left quite a lot of trails ungroomed after the recent storm which made them a lot of fun, but since have groomed most of them for the weekend crowds. We need another 12" to make the real trees truly skiable again.

To the OP, seriously, if you're a good enough skier to be seeking out 'secret' glades, why are you going to Okemo? Make friends with a Stowe local. Or are you just trolling?

In the first post he says that he's going with family who love Okemo.  Sometimes you go where the family goes.

Funny thing is, you can usually find something fun to do no matter where you go.

Super Nova was maybe open the one weekend they got 15inches. Even on a good day couple years ago Rossi refused to go in there for fear of ruining the skis.

Sorry, no secret stashes at Okemo. Well, the secret stash would be Magic Mt. It's not far- maybe 25 minutes. I reveal that secret because the chance of you going there is slim to none.

Right now, the woods are not good to extremely bad. Rain took away the base about a month ago and not enough snow since. The last storm is a start, but it's still very questionable. Was at Sugarbush last week and it is worse as they got even less snow this year. Castle Rock lift and Slide Brook Express are closed. Lots of dirt and rocks on some trails. That's after the last storm.

Spent 3 years working full time at Okemo as an instructor. I know all the secret stashes. Thing is, they're secret.
