Park City Snow Conditions in March

Thread Starter

Hello everyone,

I know what I'm probably asking is completely ridiculous but historically does anyone know what the snow conditions are like in Park City in late March?  I think the season ends in early April but this is around the only time I have to make it out there.  Based on current conditions is this a trip worth taking (from CA)?

I'm a beginner skier so I'm not looking for any advanced runs just a mix of greens/blues.  I went last year around mid Feb and had an awesome time so I'm curious what I should expect.

Thanks all!

I think you're totally safe to come out to PC to ski groomers in March.  Even if we don't get a lot of snow between now and then and the temps rise, we still have enough snow to keep you totally happy on greens/blues.  If you want to keep abreast of the snow conditions/forecast, here's a good site from a local meteorologist/powder hound:  www.wasatchsnowforecast.com

Good luck in deciding what to do!

Probably safe, but there are better choices.
