Anybody been to Grand Targhee lately?

My son and I are taking off for a week of skiing in a couple weeks and had been planning on heading to interior BC.  BUT, it appears that Targhee is really getting the goods, 43" in one week and a current reported base of 91" which is more than Revelstoke.  So, I am now thinking we will head for Targhee for a couple of days and then on to Alta/Snowbird.  So is anyone has been to Targhee recently, is it as good as it sounds?

Are you asking about the terrain in general, or the current snow conditions in particular.  I like GT.  Have only been there a couple days but would like to figure out how to spend 3-4 days.  Easy place to figure out and you can pretty much ski anywhere.  Fewer trees than usual because of a forest fire long ago.  No lines.  Driggs is a cute little town with a few good restaurants.

I know the area, been to Victor/Driggs a few times but never in the winter.  I'm not concerned about terrain.  I am interested in the conditions, is it as good as it sounds?
