The air temp in Billings was -20F at 6am.  Right now it's still -13F and wind chill is -33F.  About 2 hours ago the wind chill was -47F.  I had to go into town and walked about two blocks, wearing genuine nothern MN mukluks, heavy down parka with the hood up and heavy mittens.  I was pretty cold after one block.  MSUB cancelled classes today because there's a shortage of natural gas, apparently over a large part of the country due to the cold weather.

It's positively tropical at RLM today, 0F, but they're only running three lifts again and one of those is the Magic Carpet.  The forecast for tomorrow in around 16F.  Unfortunately the Cole Creek and Palisades lifts won't be running but I'll go anyway since the upper mountain will at least be open.
