Where is #12?

What, no skiers here from the Pacific Northwest? Too busy skiing and drinking coffee or maybe still too early to recover from the celebration? :D

Congrats to the Seahawks and their fans. Wow, what a defense, their nickname well deserved. Enjoy the revelry and all that goes with a Super Bowl win.

From the first hike there was never a doubt.

The 12th Man is at Texas A and M University and always has been.  The Sea Hags got sued for using the lingo and had to pay up bigtime to keep using it.

Just sayin'

Regardless, I was pulling for them.   I usually prefer NFC team at the end. Also nice since it is their first.  They played a great game and Denver totally self destructed.

The Hawks looked just like they've looked all year long.  They executed well and waited for the other team to make a mistake, then pounced on it.  Our offense did it's job and scored points.  Our defense did it's job and also scored points.  Pretty cool.  I'm going skiing now.

Apparently traffic was pretty light in downtown Seattle this morning, lots of people stayed home after staying out partying all night. The local news was showing street celebrations all over town and traffic was not moving in the downtown area until the wee hours of the morning.

Congrats to the Seattle-ites!  Very well behaved for a major metropolitan city that just won a major sports championship.  Bonfires might have gotten a tad out of control but boys and girls will be boyz LOL.  As long as nobody was hurt and nothing that anybody really cared about got destroyed that is awesome!

Enjoy your parade!

Was pulling for the Broncos but I always enjoy watching a good defense as well and that was a performance for the ages.  They were just swarming over everything.  I love a good, aggressive defense.

It's quite a boon to have a good QB on a 3rd round rookie contract and be able to spend a lot of cash that would usually be tied up in a big QB contract elsewhere.

North Carolina State University basically cut Wilson because he wanted to also play baseball, something the naysayers actually suggested because he wasn't "NFL QB material".  Seeing the success he had after transferring to Wisconsin, and the abysmal failure of NC State's offense the coach was fired mid season hahaha.

Russel's probably going to get a pretty good bump in pay when the contract comes up for discussion.

Just in the local paper today: Russel Wilson will go to spring training with the Texas Rangers this year.

Good for him.  Nice to be able to choose between 12-16 high impact game seasons versus 160 low impact game seasons for a career.
