Summit County Eats

I am in Frisco for the long weekend and like to find great local food.  What are some places you locals recommend for some good food?  We don't need fancy or anything like that, just good food we can't find in the midwest.

Silverheels is my favorite in Frisco.  Choice of the main restaurant for upscale Southwestern food but not overpriced.  Or the bar for lighter fare.  The Blue Spruce is similar with an upscale restaurant and a large bar area with pub style food.

I suggest this place too.

I haven't tried the PEI mussels, but the CFS is excellent.

The Boathouse; generally something new on the menu and the food is great.

Vinnies on Main St. in Frisco is perhaps the best restaurant in Summit County, not too expensive, and wines are very reasonably priced too. And they have an awesome happy hour.

Abita.

Love Lost Cajun - Frisco and Breck

Tuscato, Begalis, Blue Spruce in Frisco

Arapahoe Cafe in Dillon

Eric's Downstairs, Empire Burger for lower cost in Breck

Ember, Modis, Hearthstone in Breck for high end

Many others definitely worth doing in Breck

Most likely The Butterhorn, which is as billed - we stop every time up or down to Denver

Yes that place is great. I highly recommend it. Get anything on menu lol.

Another vote for 'The Mint' in Silverthorne - you choose your cut and size of steak from a quality meat department, then grill it yourself to perfection. Always look forward to a visit when in the front range.
