Trouble with my Boot Fit

Hello, I am new to the EpicSki Forum but came across the website while trying to troubleshoot issues with my current ski boots. I live in Southern CA and spend most of my days on the mountain in either Big Bear or Mammoth. I am a male, 6'2", about 240 lbs, with a shoe size ranging from 12-13.  My current boots are Head Edge 10.5, 29.5 Mondo and not sure of the year.  In the years past my boots seemed to work great.  They accommodated my wide foot with the 104mm last, but during the previous season they seemed to be way too tight, with not enough room in the toe area, lots of pressure around the ankle, and began causing numbness really early on in the days. Not sure if it was due to my couple years away from skiing, but needless to say I went shopping this year for new boot thinking that the size of the boot was a little small, and when I got measured, it seems the boots I have should fit fine.

My question is can the SuperHeat 3 Liner that is in them be molded and heated to fit my foot.  I do not remember if I have ever had it done before and want to give this a shot first before buying a new set of boots that cause the same issues. From everything I have been told about my boots, they are the right boot to fit my wide foot and large calves, is there a different brand that you can possibly recommend?

Thanks for the help!

if you have skied in them for more than a few days heat molding the liner will do little if anything at all, that boot is from a  good few years ago now so the liner is probably shot, maybe a new liner would help, or maybe due to the age of the shell you would be better starting over.... in your area the go to guys are footloose sports in mammoth

does the boot hurt with the buckles looser?    Can you ski the boot like that?
