Don't know if I will be there those dates, waiting on some powder and other than a light snow Tue/Wed it doesn't look good.  Hard to believe that this persistent high pressure is from Mexico to Alaska and holding.  Skied Australia but never New Zealand, will be in touch if we get some snow.

N Z  skiing is a lot better than Aust. but no where near as good as North America.

We enjoy Idaho and have skied Sweitzer, Bogus Basin and Sun valley.

We leave tomorrow you can text (sms) 0064 0275 527 516.

I've been interested in chasing at Revy. LAX has direct flights to Kelowna pretty cheap last minute. Im pretty booked up the next couple weeks though with Utah this week and CO next week. But if nothing big hits soon and you are still holding out later in Feb or early March Ill definitely do it.

ok, very possible.  It is snowing good in No.ldaho right now and none at Revo or KH so a couple weeks might be perfect.  Have 4 in on my deck right now and I am only 2,000 ft, so up the hill I go. I will be driving up so check out Spokane airfare too.  Plans (which are 100% flexible) are drive to Golden and ski KH 1 or 2 and then over to Revelstoke.  But if we meet can reverse that too.  Will keep in touch.

I will be skiing Castle (2 hours from Fernie) on my way back to Sun Peaks after the Utah gathering, so probably Feb. 10-13 and maybe Revelstoke after that. With my Sun Peaks staff pass I get free lift tickets at Castle and half price at Revy but I pay full price at Kicking Horse and Fernie so I will likely skip those places.

It all depends on who is getting the snow.

BTW Castle is a skier's mountain and not to be missed imo.

Sun (tommorrow) through Fri look good for powder all week.  skiing Silver Monday for sure and thinking of go to Schweitzer on tue or Wed and then back to Silver on Thurs (they're closed Tue and Wed so thurs should be great).   I will pm you with my phone #.   I don't know schweitzer as well as some here.  I will put a note on Inland NW site and see if we get any response.
