embedding links

Used to be I could just highlight the text, click the link icon and insert the URL and voila, a link in the thread. No more. I try, but it just gets stuck and end up having to reboot.

Instructions on the new version please?

Thanks.

Humm I haven't noticed a problem with FireFox 26.  They're going to want to know what operating system and browser you are using when it crashes on you.

Ah. Thank you.

It doesn't crash completely. Just the pop-up window for the link won't go away and I cannot get back to the thread.  I have to get out of the internet to get rid of it.

I'm running Explorer 11.0.2 on a Windows 7 OS

The problem I think is that I just don't know how to use the new link window with the targets etc etc.

Clicking OK or cancel should close the window where you paste the url.  Also, hitting the escape key will close most of the tool windows in this platform.

Haven't had an issue on mobile.

Tried all those things. Nada.

Test link

No issues. I'd just try clearing the cache. Switch to a different browser to see if the problem goes away.

What sibhusky said, shouldn't be anything different with the embed tool, so try a cache clear.
