Anyone here on Epic skiing at Snowbird this weekend?

Hey gang, I'm going to the OR show in Salt Lake Thurs and Fri, then picking up my little boy at the airport and we're skiing at Snowbird Saturday thru Tuesday.

Anyone up at Snowbird as well?

If so, let me know and maybe we can hook up for some turns.

Praying for snow...looking like it's going to hit right after we leave! :)

I'm at Snowbird every Saturday and Sunday.  I don't think we're going to see any snow but at least it'll be sunny!

Dang!   I was there a week and a half ago and would have loved to have taken a run with you.   Word of warning though, If you start skiing in the bumpy's, please know what you're doing.   They can be really bad, especially when there is still loose snow all around them.

Good luck and have fun!!

Thank you, noted! smile.gif

I generally avoid bumps these days anyway, unless they're blanketed with fluffy, glorious pow-dahhhhh.

Skied all over today, pretty iffy conditions. Some decent spots in Mineral basin, mixed in other places, crusty moguls, ice patches, some soft stuff, chop, rocks. Not terrible, just not good conditions; I'd definitely bring your rock skis. I thrashed the edges in a couple spots on my favorite skis, and my son's skis have a core shot and some rock gauges.

Son wants to snowboard tomorrow, and we're only intermediates, so I don't think we'll be able to be hitting the same spots on the mountain we skied today, it's above our ability. It would be doable if there was powder, much easier, but with the hard, icy, crusty conditions, we'd not fare too well on the expert runs.
