Yep, compared to the self-involved nobs that smack you in the head with the bar (almost exclusively skiers, b/c snowboarders don't usually use the bar) instead of giving some type of warning, both those guys look like ideal lift mates. Too bad they got stuck with you.

Poll is missing "No Difference"

Seriously, the biggest reason against going there is the attitude at Alta. Why bother? I'll just go somewhere else.

Snowboarding could probably only improve it, though the traverses would be interesting and even more of a mess. They're bad enough now.

The absence of snowboarders is just one of several criteria that draw our group to Alta. It's not at the top of the list, but is mentioned often during "where to go discussions". Obviously, we are all skiers. Would allowing snowboarders keep us from going to Alta? Probably not, but likely it would drop Alta lower down the list of prefered options. I think it also would be percieved as a "culture change" for Alta based demographics.

My 2 cents...............

Honestly, I don't care about snowboarders or monoskiers or any other type of snowuser.  I just want to go where there is good snow, good terrain and LESS PEOPLE!!!!!  Doesn't matter what kind of people..we're all the same..you have d-bag skiers, d-bag boarders..whatever.  I just want less d-bags in general!!  :D

Nope.

Few resorts do, and of the resorts that allow them many restrict their usage to specific times and or places.

Well @DonDenver will be pleased about the Ski Bikes. Thx.
