Well, NBC just jumped the shark— whoever is producing the Alpine events thought it would make great TV if in the post-race interview, Christin Cooper could just hammer away at Bode Miller's feelings about the loss of his brother last year, just to make him fall apart on screen. And then, when his teammate comes over to console him, a production assistant shoos him away to keep him out of the camera angle. Nauseating.
If NBC didn't jump the shark when the super hip Bob Costas told the snowboarder that won the gold in the slope style contest, that his sport shouldn't be an Olympic event, they did it with the Christin Cooper interview. What amazes me is that no one has punched some of these media types, I guess punching Christin wouldn't be good as she is a women. However, don't really ever care if I see Bob Costas give another interview, his day is done.
