There are only three places where people can go in the U.S. when they want to get away from snowboarders. Whether it's because you are tired of being ran over by people that can't see where they are going because of their gigantic blind spot, or just tired of goons popping their snowboards in the lift line.
Alto, Deer Vally, and MRG get all of them.
How many people do you think actually pick where they are going to ski based on them not having snowboards? I'd be willing to bet it's a VERY small percentage of people.
I would not close a resort solely based on that but it is a positive. Maybe it would be a tie breaker in some cases.
That said I do think snowboarders get a bad wrap. There are plenty of considerate boarders of there and inconsiderate skier's. Just maybe tips a little against boarders.
