Appears U.S. = East/Midwest U.S. in this person's mind.

No mention of conditions in the west/southwest.

I hope they're right.  I plan to ski again in mid/ late February.  Four really cold days with the rest in the 40s-70s is hardly a "winter" here so far :(

All that radiation blowing and drifting across the ocean from Japan is keeping things hotter there..  Just wait til Godzilla shows up..

Dig around on that weather blog and there is amazing stuff.

 

At my location at the " Tip of the Mitt " we are already at 4200 heating degree days.

Our winters vary from 7200 to 8400 degree days so we are likely more than half way through.

I'm thinking this might mean a early, warm spring.

But right now we are supposed to get 2" today, 3" tonight and 2" tomorrow.

 

I'll be on the first chair at Nubs hoping to show my FX94's some snow.
