Atomic c9.18. Did I go too short?

I purchased a pair of 03 Atomic c9.18 (with 4-12 bindings) from ebay recently in a 160 cm size. Right now I ski a K2 Axis x in a 174. I love my k2's--great ski-- but I wanted something more in a carving model, and possibly for bumps. I am 5-6 185 lbs. Did I go way too short?? Has anybody else skied this ski? Is it any good? I figured if I didn't like them, I could always give them to my sister, who is shorter and lighter.

great ski probably a little short for you though, 170 would probably be as short as you would want to go but what the heck ski them & see but I bet your sister will love them.

It depends on how aggressive you are as a skier. The 9.18 is not the stiffest of skis and can be fairly easily overpowered. Try it and see how you like it. You may just find it's lots of fun. If it's not for you, there's always your sister. I hear she's smaller and lighter for you and no doubt, this is a statistic she's probably happy with.
