Finny, the infamous Chaos had quite a few worth noting.  However, I find this thread has more self-destructive humorous features than the blatant over the top ego of Chaos.  Looking forward to act II when our central character returns home!

LOL, yes but Chaos's posts were blatant troll fabrications; this at least has the element of "truth", more of the train wreck "reality show" feeling.   we were all hooked at "MX88 in 188" for a never-ever:D  There is an endearing quality about the OP and we all want to know how it went with the GF and parents too.

there's a high pressure system pushing in ya' know....

Except there is no girlfriend.

Amazing what we want to believe.

Spending 2k on useless gear when one doesn't have it?

Kinda makes me want to go out and buy a pair!  Think Mrs Ragin' will be impressed?

You worried about all the sunshine on Steamboat w/ that high pressure?

188's???  hmm, is your middle name herman?

no, the sunshine is really nice. temps are holding very well. its 6* at my house and 10* on top.  there is a ton of snow here.  add at least 20% to what Steamboat has reported.

That, my friend, would be a total waste of a great ski on me!   Heck, I still ski some days on those Wateas I bought from you some time ago.  Not a core shot or dinged up edge on those!

There is a small class of folks who can use a 188 to its potential and I am not anywhere near that class either my friend.

Glad to hear the Watea's are going strong.

Yes, still waiting...

I would hazard a guess for his silence. OP took that lesson and learned everything he needed. Even as I write he is on his way to Sochi to compete in either the bump fields or smoothed out stuff events, which ever is better on the MX 88 in 188. Almost makes me want to hop on a plane, but only if it the one he is piloting. Best of luck, my friend, and don't forget the little people here on Epic.

Still, it's an entertaining read.

A "good troll" if there's such a term.

Shane... Come back...

He'll be at the Gathering in Utah.

Look for someone on MX 88's wearing black.

Might go by the name "Ken".

Possibly staying at Solitude. To be away from it all.

Likely to go to Brighton to see what all the fuss about Boarders is.

Awesome! Maybe he'll let me take a run on his 188s off Sunnyside.
