This is the jacket that was provided to the course workers at the Fall 2012 Birds of Prey WC races at Beaver Creek. You can't buy one of these. Unfortunately, if you're among the last in line when they are handed out, the popular sizes are often gone, and in some years the ordering is a bit off. Not enough XL's in 2012, and a lot of smalls! I had hoped that this would fit somebody in our family. Too small. It's a true to size Small in a regular cut.
The Jacket is a HH "Swift" model. Nice garment. Color is Alert Red. Backcountry has this on their site at $300, and that seems to be the going price for these. It's lightly insulated with 60g Primaloft warm core. 13,000 mm waterproof. Nice pockets. Removable hood. Snap up power skirt. Pit zips. Collar lined with very soft fleece like material. RECCO.
Birds of Prey insignia is on the right chest. Nicely done. It's obviously brand new, unused, etc.
The members of the Talon Crew who ended up sized correctly love this jacket, so much that this year's group were provided with the same coat in green. Really versatile, in all kinds of weather. I'm planning on buying one in a much bigger size, minus the BOP signage….sadly.
$175, shipped. Please PM me with questions or for more details. Thanks.
