Beaver Creek is off to a great start this year and recently got about a foot of new snow. Here's a short video clip of an early morning run I made recently which is typical of the conditions you can expect.

Very nice Dave.  You had that whole place to yourself.  What day of the week?  Are non-holiday weekdays usually real quiet at the Beav?

That's some nice corduroy!  The video says 12/29/2013, so if correct that was the Sunday between xmas and new years.   Pretty amazing for the peak of the holiday season.

The beav is so much better than Vail in terms of crowds, but I'm sure it was much more crowded later in the day.   The hords driving up from Denver were still likely in traffic, and not many of the folks who can afford to stay at the beav during the holidays are, um, dedicated skiers and likely to be out too early.

James - It was Sunday morning early, maybe 8:45 and I think it was my second run. It usually doesn't pick up until an hour or two later. I don't know about weekdays but they probably are even better. The Birds of Prey lift is always better than the others.

tball you are right about the drive - there are so many ski resorts East of Beaver Creek.

This weekend was great powder skiing but Vail probably had a record number of skiers - http://www.vaildaily.com/news/9708712-113/vail-crowds-town-busy
