Volkl Racetiger GSR World Cup RACE STOCK Skis 177cm Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, z1.1.0. ||B1

I cannot find this ski anywhere. I am trying to find a good Nastar ski for myself. Me: Expert on high speed groomers, 66, on Volkl Kendo 177. weight 185lbs,  I just started Nastar for thje first time in 15 years and I am doing poorly on the Kendo. I must have a flat ski with no plate so I can abduct my right binding to match up alignment with a previously broken leg. Is this ski to much board for me? I am racing in Ohio and this turn radius is 23 which is probably to big for our hills but it is a very good price and new so if it is flexible enough not to wear out a old man maybe I could also free ski it on the hard pack. Anyone know this ski?

I meant to say, I cannot find any information on this ski anywhere.

I don't know anything about the ski but at $139, and you are looking for a race ski... I'd say it would be worth the gamble that you will like it and easy to resell if you don't like it.

BTW it is probably new old stock, which would explain the lack of info available. The big question is how old?

At 23m , it's a women's World Cup ski, so it should be easier to bend than a comparable men's ski depending on weight, strength and ability. I couldn't tell you how easy, since I've only skied FIS men's skis or cheater GS skis and not the women's race stock. I race NASTAR on a 21m men's WC Volkl from a few years before the ski you linked to, before the radius went to 27m and it's a blast to ski on firm groomers.

I believe it's 2009. I know it's cheap and I love Volkls but I don't want a super stiff ski

What size was your Volkl, how much do you weigh and were you on race stock?

Yes, it is a women's/junior race stock. With the 23 m radius it is at least 2008. From the graphics it looks like a 2008 or 2009. The Volkl race stock is pretty soft flex to start with, and in the 177 it will be as soft as you will get. There should be no problem bending it, I would have more concern at it being too noodly at 185# with potential to overpower it but given what you want it for and the price I think it is a decent option for you to get into nastar. Just pull the piston plate and mount your binding set up
