I have worked in resort for nearly 15 years now and I see incredibly talented skiers and snowboarders coming through. The guys that I see a lot of are the young freeriders, looking to get noticed and make the big time. Most come from racing backgrounds as juniors and not only do they know how to handle their fear (like freestyle riders) but they also have the technique to ride some of the biggest lines in the world on a regular basis. Technique, awareness, mental toughness, freestyle and desire are just a few of the attributes that make up a good freerider. I take my hat off to you and look forward to seeing much more.

The 2014 Freeride World Tour starts in Courmayeur and I found this article which tells you a little more about it. Check it out.

I can't wait and I'll be there to witness it.
