Wait a minute. Not so fast. Stop.
You're being positively hasty in your rush to place these Koreans on a pedestal. Nowhere in this video do they demonstrate true technical mastery by blending the four fundamental skills with exquisite sensitivity to produce the master outcome and foundation of good turns, the pivot slip.
All we see is a bunch of ankle wiggling, resembling nothing so much as a pack of dogs wagging their tails. There's no diversity or breadth to their toolboxes and hence no sophistication to their skiing. There's a reason why PSIA was not impressed by the Koreans at Interski! The coaches of PSIA won't need many crayon colors to sketch this one-dimensional skiing.
