conflicting views about boot performance

Thread Starter

Ive been skiing in a Technica Attiva and find myself looking for new boots this year as I've torn my metatarsal ligaments. I have a ginormously wide foot and calf which has limited me to maybe 3 boots of choice.

My question is, I have one boot fitter telling me I don't need as much as a performance boot since I have wicked good skis and don't have to work too hard and another saying I shouldn't sacrifice the performance I had with the Attivas.

I'm looking at the Rossi Alltrack, Dalbello Kyra and Atomic Hawx 80 and Live 80and need some guidance.

why NOT get a boot that fits better and has more performance?

the best boot is the one that fits YOU the best
