Leki WC Trigger S vs. TBS WC SL Trigger S

Hi guys,

I'm planning on ordering a new pair of poles soon, and want a pair of Leki WC's with the trigger system. I am confused about the difference between these two poles though. I am a non-racer who spends his time instructing and free skiing.  When doing some research, I found that the "TBS" stands for tube balance system, but what does that mean and would that be more or less ideal for me? I get both poles for the same price and am torn between the two poles. Can anyone tell me which pole would be more ideal for me/ what the differences are between these two poles? Thanks,

Tyler. The TBS Leki Poles are extra strong with an additional tube glued inside the 16mm outer tube. Really Heavy Duty, great for repeated Slalom gate bashing. The 18mm Leki WC poles are slightly lighter with a more comfortable/balanced swing weight feel (IMHO). For free skiing I would recommend the standard 18mm WC model.
