Dynastar Speed course pro, Head Rally...

Any opinions on these skis?  Looking for a new  hard snow ski  I don't want a fully committed race set up I don't think. but  need to get through gates now and again ( coaching) Need great stability, no real speed limit, ability to vary turn shape and size SL to GS.  Would love it if it were forgiving enough to get me through the occasional bump run or a day of chopped up crud.  I've kind been sold on the Dynastars just cause there are some out there. Consider the heads cause ive had the Supershape and the Chip and enjoyed them.   On Heads and Vokls now though the heads are shot. 5'10 165lbs.  Thank you

Last time I looked someone was selling a minty pair of Dynastar Speed Cross 177s on the Gear Swap board.  They might be a good option for you.

Good luck.

Can I asked what ski you went with, Im also looking at these 2 options. I do gates once a week too but would like something that is also skiable on some bumps

Yes I ended up with a pair of 178 speed course pro. I am 5'10 165.  They are great at gs turns. too long for throwing sl.  Others have said they are less forgiving though I don't see it so much. I haven't had them in any bumps,  they handle the choped up fresh snow and such just great though you need to stay on them.

I actually got the head Rally's in a 163 and I'm super happy.. This was a great choice for my first stiffer ski, I am more an advanced intermediate skier and the confidence I have in them immediately boosted my skiing to a different level.. I love those edges!
