Posting tonight from under the starry skies of Colby, KS. We had an amazing day today and skied from bell to bell at Loveland including about 3 straight hours riding on Chair 9 (goes to 12700’). Blue skies, temps in 20s, wind not bad. One of my best powder days ever. There were quite a few aspects with ~15” of new snow. We don’t see too many days like this in Virginia. Vince enjoyed renting Blizzard Cochise skis, 108mm under foot. One of the first times he actually got to use something close to a true powder ski in significant fresh powder. I broke out the old Volant Chubbs and they were great in this stuff (thanks skimangojazz and rio!). This was a great finish to our ski time in Colorado.
Santa was "lodge dad" today and watched over our stuff while we were out playing in the snow

Bluebird day if ever there was one.
Time to hit the hay. Big road day tomorrow, but nice memories to ponder as the miles roll by. Thanks for following our adventures and we wish you nothing but happy trails!
